Campus ID card information for new students joining 2025-2026 academic year.

UK students studying on campus:

Enrolled from August 2025 onwards?
  • Your card will be generated and posted to your term time contact address the next working day after completing all your enrolment tasks. Please ensure that your contact address is up to date, complete and has a UK postcode.
  • Please note that cards are sent 2nd class via Royal Mail, who have recently reduced the frequency of deliveries - if you do not receive your card in the post after 10 working days, please get in touch with the library team. This time frame is longer than currently stated on some of the general University web pages (5 working days).
  • You will collect your lanyards and cardholders from your Faculty during induction - the library does not keep a stock of these items.

International students studying on campus:

  • Once you have enrolled and uploaded a photo your card will be produced and delivered to the library where you can collect it. If you study at Walsall, your card will be at Walsall Library; at City Campus or Springfield, your card will be at Harrison Library ; at Telford Campus, your card will be at the Hutchison Library, Telford.
  • Please allow 2-3 working days following enrolment for your card to be available for collection.
  • View our opening hours to know when you can visit to collect your ID card.
  • Cardholders and lanyards will be available from your Faculty.
