How to Print from your own device

You can print from your own device, but each platform requires slightly different steps. Please see below for setup, which is a one time process, and how to print once set up.
Setup:
Windows

Download the Papercut Software from the Papercut website: Mobility Print Cloud Print- Windows setup (papercut.com)

Open the downloaded file to install the software (you will need admin permissions on your machine).

Back in the browser window, click, 'Connect and get my Printers'.

When connected, a message will be displayed, 'Printers Installed'
Mac

The printers support 'AirPrint' and are automatically identified by MacOS. For this to work, you will need to be connected to Eduroam. If you are not connected to Eduroam, see the 'How to connect to Eduroam' FAQ.

Once connected to Eduroam, you will see Follow you Student (Papercut Virtual Print Queue) as a Printer.
Chromebook

Visit the Papercut website: Mobility Print- Chrome setup (papercut.com)

Use the link to the Chrome Web Store to download the software.

Back in the browser window, click, 'Connect and get my Printers'.

When connected, a message will be displayed, 'Printers Installed'
iPhone OS / iPad OS

The printers support 'AirPrint' and are automatically identified by iPhones and iPads. For this to work, you will need to be connected to Eduroam. If you are not connected to Eduroam, see the 'How to connect to Eduroam' FAQ.

Once connected to Eduroam, you will see Follow you Student (Papercut Virtual Print Queue) as a Printer.
Please note: Many file formats will print directly from the app, but and images will need to be saved to the 'Files' app first, instead of being printed from the 'Photos' App.
Android

Make sure your Android is connected to Eduroam.

Install the Mobility Print App from the Google Play Store.

Launch the app.

Tap Android settings.

Tap Mobility Print.

Tap the enable toggle.

Exit out of Settings.
Printing

From the usual print option in the app you are using, select 'Follow You Student [Papercut Virtual Print Queue] as the printer.

Select your printing options.
-
After pressing 'Print' you will be prompted for your University IT details. This links the print to your university IT Account.

At the MFD, tap your ID Card, and release the job.
