Yes, you can request print books from our main campus libraries to collect from Burton MEC.
Deliveries to Burton are arranged only when required, so you cannot place a request directly via the Library catalogue.
- To place a request please use the Ask the Library web form, providing the details of the items you need, i.e., title, author(s), date of publication/edition.
- Once delivery has been arranged library staff will inform you of when you will be able to collect the books.
- Books are held for collection in room 5526, opposite the Medical Education Centre Reception desk. You will need your student ID card to access the room, and also to issue the items to your library account using the Self-Service Kiosk.
- You will also need to use the Self-Service Kiosk to return the books when you are finished with them or they are recalled.
