Library Assist: Answers

If you’ve reserved a study room through LibCal and find that someone is still occupying it when your booking begins, don’t worry - this situation can happen from time to time.

You are welcome to knock on the door and politely let the person know that you have the room booked for this time slot. Most people will appreciate the reminder and vacate promptly.

If you’d prefer not to approach them directly - and that’s absolutely fine - please speak to a member of the library team. We’ll be happy to step in and resolve the situation on your behalf. Our goal is to make sure you can use the space you’ve booked without any stress so if you need assistance, just let us know.
