Log into your account at https://www.kortext.com/, click the Analytics icon in the left hand menu and then select Dashboard.
On the Analytics dashboard, you can choose from a User Summary or a Content Summary.
- The User Summary displays a usage overview relating to your modules, along with a module summary detailing total users and activity rates for each of the modules you teach. The user data section lists each student individually (by email address) with an indication of how many study sessions they have completed and when they were last active on Kortext. The book data section reveals the cumulative study time for each title plus total pages accessed, annotations and searches.
- The Content Summary allows you to drill deeper into how specific titles are being used. By choosing a title from the module summary box (or by using the filters on the right-hand side of the screen), you will be presented with a breakdown of usage by section that enables you to identify which chapters are proving especially popular. Graphics also pinpoint highly-used pages and search terms.
Please note: the Kortext analytics relate to items on your reading lists that a) have been tagged as Essential Reading, and b) have been supplied by Kortext as e-textbooks. Please contact the Leganto team (leganto@wlv.ac.uk) if you are interested in usage data relating to non-Essential or non-Kortext items.
