Library Assist: Answers

We are unable to put an exact time frame on this as it depends upon whether the book is available in the Library or on loan to another person.

• Usually we can process available books to be collected from the same site within one working day, but things will take longer if you've selected a different Library to collect it from.
• If it is already on loan, it depends upon the person who currently has the book on loan bringing it back promptly - when you place your request, they will be issued with a recall message and have a week to return the item.
• Once the library receives the item we will process it ready for the next person in the queue, which can mean transporting the item to another campus for collection.
• Keep a close eye on your university outlook email account (not the mailbox in Canvas) and you will be notified when the book is available to be collected.
