I've lost a Library book that I borrowed, what do I do?

If you are sure you have lost a Library book, there are two options:

  1. Buy a replacement copy and bring it into the Library/post it to us. We will then remove the lost item from your Library account. The replacement must be the same edition as the one you borrowed, or newer. It can be second-hand but if so, it must be in good condition e.g. no highlighting or missing/damaged pages.
  1. If you prefer, you can pay for the book. This can be paid by credit/debit card in the Library or we can add it to your Library Account so you can pay it online. The current charge for any lost item is £50, regardless of the original cost.

If you have any questions, please contact the Library asap.
