For many of our eBooks, yes it should be possible to download to your laptop and/or mobile device for a short time.
Some Publishers do not allow full download but you may be able to download and keep a chapter or percentage of the book. Details will be given on the page where the book is viewed.
Please note download options:
- are governed by the e-book platform/publishers not the Library, and some restrictions may apply
- are often limited to a short amount of time after which the file will expire - up to 1 day / 24 hours is most common, although it is usually possible to go back and download the file again as many times as you need
- may require specific software such as Adobe Digital Editions - follow the instructions on the platform you are using
