How do I request an official letter or document from the University?

If you are a Current Student, official letters can be requested via an option on the Student Homepage in e:Vision:

  • council tax exemption letter
  • student bank account letter

Please make sure you only view the letters when you are able to save or print them - our system only allows you to view them once.

If you have not graduated yet and need information about your course/transcript, or have any questions about official documents and how to request them, please use the ASK@WLV Help option on e:Vision to open a Help call.

If you are a Graduate and require proof of your course, this information can be provided by the Graduate Services/Student Records department:

  • original and replacement certificates
  • transcripts
  • letter of confirmation/proof of attendance
  • modules studied and descriptions

Please note:

  1. there is a fee for most of these documents
  2. proof of ID is required if you no longer have access to e:Vision
  3. it takes at least 7 to 10 working days for requests to be processed
